    Default Went out fishing this afternoon and


    Went out for a little fishing at about 12:30 this afternoon and in about 2 hours got 9 nice ones. Most were female full of eggs. They were in water from 6 1/2' to about 8 1/2'. Plenty enough for us to fry a little tomorrow.

    Had 3 that were over 13" and I think the smallest was 12" so all nice ones.

    Skip, I love them blacks. Some nice ones there, thanks for the pictures. Its because of pictures like that, I will work harder on the house during the week so as I can get out next week end.

    Thanks guys! Just had to get out and try a bit to see where they are and it's about real time for sure. Water temp was 62 and caught all long line trolling.

    Also went out for about one hour yesterday and got 3 nice ones and gave them away.

    Gene you need to get after them as time is now for sure, The females were busting with eggs.

    Today I went to a spot that the water was kind of clear so I used a 1/32 Roadrunner...Silver/FL Yellow/White Blue tipped Crosscut rabbit tail.

    Yesterday I fished a tiny bit and the water at that spot was stained and it was cloudy so I used a RR too, but FL Red/FL Green Crystal Antron/Black Barred Chart Marabou was want did it then. Still got a few nice one then too.
