    Default Attaching Multiple Jigs

What is the best way to attach multiple jigs to one pole so that you can fish say two different depths off one line.

I have tried the three way snap but i keep running into the same problem with them, the jig gets wrapped and tangled in the main line, is there away to prevent that from happening.

Try the loop knot. There may be some old threads on it. Even some links to pictures or video's.

Just tie your upper hook or jig on using either a loop knot

    or a palomar knot

With either knot just leave yourself a long tag end to which you then tie on the bottom hook using either knot.

I use to use 8lb test for the whole rig and had the same problem. Now I use 12lb test for the top jig. The stiffer line helps a lot, hardly ever wraps up now. Also, keep in mind that this rig is not meant to be fished stationary.

Default No problem on fishing 2 to 3 jigs

Lots of crappie fishermen use wire spreaders space 2 to 3 feet apart you can find a spreaders and many mail order catalogs I prefer to try a loop in my line 2 foot apart we never tight line are jigs we always use a loop to give them more action

In the dead of winter in real cold water, sometimes it's hard to feel them bite. That's when this rig works well for me. It's basicly a drop shot rig fished verticaly. And I use it mostly in deeper brush piles. Use a reel with 15lb braid. Tie on a small barrel swivel with a palamar knot. On about 4' of 10lb fluorocarbon, tie on 2 #4 extra light wire hooks about 18" -24" apart with palamar knots. That leaves you a foot or so of tag line from each hook. Tie one of those ends to your barrel swivel and tie an overhand knot at the other tag end. Then put a large split shot on at the overhand knot. All the knot does is keep the split shot from easily sliding off. On one of those hooks put on a minnow on the other hook thread on your favorite jig body. For me it's a 2" Bobby Garland baby shad. With this rig you don't have lose ends to tangle and you can really feel those soft bites.
Don't move it up and down much. A little twitch now and then is plenty. Go on down in the brush because when you get hung, the hooks almost all the time straighen out.

I would use a Kentucky rig or a dropper rig.
