I don't know about the corks but once while I was scouting open water at night one summer I put those glo bracelets in a white plastic pint bottle and used them for marker bouys. Worked pretty good!

Default My Take on glow floats

Use the small glow sticks and get you some small casting bubbles. I am talking about the clear floats with the rubber tubing center so it will stay put on your line with a twist. Pull the top of the float/tubing up enough to get the small (ACTIVATED)glow stick inside. You have a lighted float plus the added bonus of a rattle if you shake it. You can also attach the small glow sticks to pencil style slip floats with small sections of surgical tubing. We use them all the time when we go to the paylakes for a night trip. There is nothing like seeing that streak of glowing fire going through the water with a big cat on the other end...lol. Good Fishin'....GF
