B-fishy, first of all welcome to Crappie Dot Com from South Louisiana. Where are you from. There are many here that us multiple jigs on lines, as high a 4 jigs. You can use some form of loop knot for the top jigs and you favorite knot on the bottom one. Some also use the palomar knot for the top jigs. There are many here that can guide you better than I. Also you will learn more than knots here. Good luck in your fishing and we will be looking for reports.

thanks Gene I,m from central Missouri. I have tried different knots but seems like all the ones I try the top knot only has about half as strong as my bottom knot. Another problem is if I used a Polamar Knot on top and get it tight your jig just does not sit staight. Good Luck out there.

As the other Welcome aboard from Vermont. For the top know on a jig I try and use a loop know but sometimes this doesn't always work

welcome to the board. I like to use a loop knot. I also made some s/s wire rigs, like the ones used in trolling rigs.

You might try this address for various knots: Grog's Fishing Knots Index

Also there is a guy on the board ShipAhoy41 that has a set-up for multiple jigs on one line.

    Good luck...

I like to use a loop knot on the top jig and a palomar on the bottom jig. You may have a jig that has a hook thats too heavy if your jig isn't horizontal. The bigger the hook the more likely it is to hang slightly off horizontal. Your bottom jigs knot can be positioned so that the knot is cinched on the eye so that it makes the jig horizontal. Just tie your jigs and hold your line in mid-air and see how they look. They will be the same underwater.
