Nice fish and thanks for the pics- just moved to Miss from Flagstaff and while the fishing here is fun, I miss the desert crappie/bass and high country trout/pike. But you sure are dressed funny for Alamo!! Keep postin em, I like to see it.
I know this is a Crappie site but we took a break from Crappie due to a cold front and went after Bass. Here are a few that we caught.

I catch a lot of crappie that look like that.
I fished Alamo in 1981-82, when I lived in Phx. How has the lake evolved in 30 yrs.? Is it still a 40 mi. drive,on dirt to get to it from the east? Are waterdogs still a prime live bait. How primative is the shoreline?
Alamo is pretty nice, now a days.Great crappie fishing. They have asphalt now, lol. No more dirt roads.Yea,when it gets below 60 degrees here,us Arizona fishermen have to bundle up,mostly to use the winter clothes at least for a couple of days a year, lol.
"Garden Hackler"lol
those are some good looking "green carp"
