    Default The Thump!

All I can say is WOW! 1st time to get the boat out this year on Melvern. I've always had good luck right after ice out. Tried to get on the water at 8 but boat trouble had me running around in circles. Finally got on the water at 10:30 and by 12:30 I had my limit. I only had to hit one brush pile. These crappie were hitting it hard! Didn't matter what color, they hit everything I put down. Glad I got the boat running and can't waite till next time.

Nice catch, did I hear there are a rush of pickups and boats heading toward Melvern. Highway I-35 and 75 might have traffic jams.

Good catch - made that boat trouble seem minor.
