    Default Summer Cranking

Looking to try trolling some crankbaits (and other methods if needed) this weekend in North Alabama. Any thoughts to depths, areas, etc that I should start?

Callshy, I've been catchin at Bay Springs (NE MS) last 3 weekends running baits
15-17 feet deep over 25-35 feet of water - over and around major creek channels
in main lake and mouths of coves - keying in on balls of shad and trolling through them.
It has been cloudy/rainy all three days though - expect to have to go 5 or so feet
deeper if its bright and sunny. If you want to ask any specifics, PM me. Good luck,

Bandit 300's are great for this time of year. They will run 8-12 foot deep when pulled at 1.5-3mph 150ft. behind the boat. Been doing pretty well lately using white.
