Everybody laugh at the wet guy...
So I'm one of those unfortunate guys who has to wear a suit and tie to work. But tonight after work, I'm going fishing. So I loaded up my gear in the car this morning, including a 5 gallon bucket with about 4 generous dozen minnows in the trunk. Don't want to have to stop for anything on my way to the water! I'm cruising along pretty good for morning rush hour, and all of a sudden the car in front of me slams on the brake. You guessed it. While I did manage to keep from hitting the car, there was still an accident. The bucket (which had at least 4 gallons of water in it) tipped over smashing my rods. The back seat was down to fit the rods in. The lid comes off! A tidal wave of minnows and water roars through the trunk, the back seats, and hits the back of my seat!
So I merge across 3 lanes of traffic to get off the interstate. By the time I get out to look in the trunk, there is not 2 ounces of water and a half dozen minnows in the bucket. I pick up the minnows from all over the trunk, the back seat, in the seams between the cushions, the floorboard, you name it, there's minnows in it! I get all I can see, and I'm still missing close to two dozen. And I have no idea what I'm going to do for water...
Here's how I know God loves me: I lift up the trunk liner, and lo-and-behold, the rest of the minnows are swimming around the spare tire in what turns out to be almost 2 gallons of water!!! I find a cup by the side of the road and bail the water out of the indention that used to hold my spare, which is now sitting on the side of the car, back into the bucket scooping minnows along the way. So far as I know, all the minnows are accounted for...at least, so far as I know...
And now for some reason I can't quit singing Travis Tritt's "It's a Great Day to be Alive"...

Jeremiah 16:16a "But now I will send for many fishermen," declares the Lord, "and they will catch them."
