I am a new member and an avid crappie-first fisherman! I have been crappie fishing for about 6 years now and finally got a 2lbr this year on Jordan Lake.
Here is a pic. What up Mike!

can be taken care of by putting your pics in a hosting site (like Photobucket) and downsizing them to around the 640x480 pixel count range (must be done when uploading them into Photobucket). That's the "Large" size option that's listed on Photobucket, and a good size for message board use (just for reference). ;)

I see you've mastered the use of the "paperclip attachment", and that's fine ... ;)

Nice looking fish ... congrats !! And Welcome to Crappie.com !

... cp

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. And your right about already thinking about a bigger one! I think I'll go for the 2.5lbr first and see what happens. I thought I would hold off with the fish in the freezer; until the second or third week of spring, just in case of a bigger one, but I already called my taxidermist! That fish is going on the freaking wall!
I am, however, getting up early tomorrow to fish before coaching the little girls basketball game at 2:00. Look out!
