I just use a 4 oz weight on a paper clip and slide it down my line. Bounce it up and down a few times and the jig will come loose.
I Am Sure A Lot Of You Already Know This But If You Are Hanging Up In The Brush And Tree's A Lot And Losing Jigs, Take A Bic Lighter And Heat Up The Curve Part Of Your Hook, They Call It "anealing It" And It Will Be Soft And Easy To Straighten Out........ Be Cautious If You Have A Big One On Because It Can Straight'n Out The Hook, Have A Net Ready For Those...
