    Default Airplane Hollow, Pickwick Lake

Many years ago, in the 50's, my late father and uncle fished for crappie in the Bear Creek area near Buzzard's Roost Bridge. They brough home some serious 4-5 lb crappie. One of their favorite areas was called Airplane Hollow, but I can not find any reference to it. Does anyone know where this is?

Yep, know where it is :D

little bay with a narrow entrance, on the Alabama side, almost directly
across from Pearson's point, if you know that... or, next one up-creek
from Aurora springs - at least that's what I know as airplane hollow.
Too shallow for me most of the year, but I'm sure it's good during the spawn.
