New to the board, just wondering if any of you guys use these rods for trolling? If so, what reel do you use with them?

    Default RE:B-N-M poles

I recently bought 2 B-n-M 9 foot jigging poles. THey were ultra lights. but I use them trolling and I like them. All though they are kinda light. I have hung some big stuff(striper and channel cat) trolling and they have proven their self to me . Got mine from Academy Sports for about 35 smackers.

Welcome to the forum, Derek. Yep, I used the 13 footers for 4 or 5 years before I upgraded to graphite. I guess you could consider it an economy version pole, but they are really good poles for the money. A little heavy, but they will take a pretty good load. I had (and still use) the Daiwa Underspin XD 80 on mine. BnM makes good stuff.

11 foot Buck's Graphite Jig Poles with the little plastic BnM reels. I need to upgrade my reels to something a little better for when I hook big bass or cats.

I got some of the Slow Trollers from B&M that are similar. I have had them for 2 years with no trouble. They are heavy and far less sensitive than my graphite jigging poles. But overall for the money they are hard to beat.

I have 3 of the 10' Buck's Ultimate and have had them for, geeze not sure, but like 8 years I think. Never had any trouble I didn't cause.
