You Could Try The Fountains On The Plaza...
Hey guys near KC. I need to take my wife to the airport Thurs. AM. I should be out of there by sun up. Is there any chance I could find some open water to fish from shore? I will throw the poles in the car just in case.
Thanks Q

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
I bet Smithville will have some - if it gets up to 60+ today like they say (although we are far from it now)...
Smithville is less than 10 miles north of I435 right? It won't be too far to take a look.
I think Olesilversides is pulling my leg !! but I will have my camera and take some pictures of those fountains.

i will hopefully be there thursday and friday after 1230 the docks are open at camp branch from what gary burton told me today
I did look up the fountains, only because some guys invited me to fish for trout at a city pond in Sedalia because it has fountains that keep the water open (nice try Olesilversides) but I will check out Smithville.
If any of ya'll see a guy with a Broncos hat and or jacket on, please say "Hello".
Good news is I have to go back on Wednesday the 11th to pick her up!! So there should be some places to hit before her plane arrives :D:D
Thanks Q

Drove out to Camp Branch this afternoon on my way home and while no one was out there, all the docks were accessible. I was wishing I had a pole with me to at least drop a jig and see what might happen.
Here are directions from KCI to Camp Branch.
Good Luck! Let us know how you do....
