Did you get a load of the ignorant (my opinion) comment about wasting our tax dollars putting him in jail?
I think the proceeds from the boat and his restitution should cover most of the burden.

actually,it seems to be a stiff sentence.Felony charges,1 year no parole,30,000$ restitution,forfiture of boat etc....

Beats just a fine and loss of license.

Question in my mind is motivation...knowing the consequences, what kind of coin can you get from paddlefish eggs? He had quite a bit. What about the company he sold them to...obviously they can't be held accountable or the story would of said something to that effect. Knowing that I could lose my boat is enough of a deteriant for me. My gosh the withdrawls pains!
