    hello to you all i am Brushy top. looking for tips for my day time crappie fishing. cant seem to pin point them,all egged up bloody fins cant catch them shallow or deep, jigs or shinners starting to get some what aggravated any advice would be very helpful.

    Brushy Top, welcome to the site. I can't remember seeing any post by you. We have a bunch of C.C members in your neck of the woods. Perhaps you need to post on the Louisiana board where you can hook up with some locals who might be able to point you in the right direction. I could tell you what I do but it probably would work up north.

    I am way out of my league on this site as far as knowledge and success. When our fish are full and scraped up we put jigs as shallow as six inches under a cork and go after the shallow feeding pre and post spawn fish in 0 to 4 feet of water near spawning areas. Board weigh in withyour ideas.
