I've recently found out that DirecTV carries the Sportsman's Channel which airs Crappie fishing shows but DISH Network does not. Please contact both the Sportsman's Channel AND Dish at the links below to petition them to add the Sportsman's Channel to the DISH programming lineup! Thanks!!!

I emailed DISH and this is their response to me...

We would like to add the Sportsman channel sooner to make viewers like you happy. However we do not have any specific information regarding your inquiry. Please understand that it is our intent to add a variety of programming and services to please current and future subscribers. We will gladly forward your request to our Programming Department for further consideration.

Crappie Novice a good Idea there, I have ask them on several ocassions and to no avail, but maby if enough respond to your e-mail link it might happen sent mine later

I put it on the main board area, too. There are a LOT of us. Even those who don't have DISH can still ask for it. They may become a DISH customer at a later date. Thanks for putting in a request, sir!

I did the same thing - when you look at the website, they have that prebuilt letter - you just plug in your information and it goes to DISH Network - we need this channel!!!

I just got it on my Direct Tv....Got to see a good Midwest Crappie show on Saturday. It is great to see a show dedicated to crappie fishing.
