    Default Stopped by the lake

We had a rare break in the clouds we have here 98% of the time in the winter, so I ran out and got some much needed exposure to the sun today. I took a few pics while I was out and I thought I'd share one that is a stitch of several shots I took. This is Chautauqua Lake.

Shanty thing really hasn't caught on here. Because so much snow sits on top of the ice shanty's tend to end up at the bottom of the lake after a few warm days. We don't get as cold as the upper midwest does where all the shanty nuts live, but we get a lot more snow. The snow also makes for a real heart stopping workout dragging everything out on the ice, and then back.
