    Default Nice Walleye!

those are some great looking fish! I also love to crappie and walleye fish. We take a trip to Lake Erie in early June and the walleye fishing is great! Last year we had two boats and 12 guys and we limited out (6 fish each) in only about 3 hours. The average size was about 23 inches and the largest was 28 inches. We also take a trip to Canada in early July every year and do good on the walleye. We had several fish over 27 inches and the biggest was 30 inches. I live in central Indiana and catch a few nice walleye on Lake Monroe and Cagles Mill lake. Where does everyone else catch walleye?

I run a charter and fish Lake Erie a bunch between the Islands and Toledo, Ohio. I'm in Florida now looking for some bass and crappie.

We stay at Bayview way down river from where you stay...but we usually take the boats out and trailer up there and fish that area also. Last time I was up there I caught the biggest pike of my life in that bay, it hung over both sides of my Tracker PT175 at the front seat. :D

we have been going up the clementson resort for years....we ahve an early october slot and when we started it was prime time. water would be around 45 degrees and the hogs and the eaters were both in there together. then at night i would throw large topwaters and destroy the pike from the dock.

the last 2 days its been early in the season with water temps still in the 50's....hopefully next year we aren't so early.
