    if the water is 40 degrees and the air temp is 60 for 2 days how much does the water warm up.in 10 ft or less

    this kind of reminds of those old tricky school questions.

    What about the night time temp? If the over night air temp is still getting back into the 30's and 40s I would think that any warming done on day would be negated (sp?) by the cold over night temps between day one and day two. Just my guess.

    Stained water here with air temps in the upper 20s to upper 30s at night and 40s to 50s day, water temp today started at 45 at day light warmed to 51 by 3 pm. Caught 17 ranging from 6fow to 3fow.

    was suprised to see the water temp increase by 10 from morning to afternoon( 57 to 67) catch in morning =3, afternoon =16. we have had three nights with frost and 60s during the day so this morning water temp should be in the low 50s, will know when the boat is launched.--later shu
    PS the temp was 59.4 and no bites
