great looking fish, how long was he?
Yeah, had to go get me one of them 2 pounders that Jerry is all the time showing pics of on here. Caught this rascal today. The lady at the dock said her ancient produce scale was 4 ounces off, to the light side, so that made this critter 2 lbs, 3 ounces. This is my personal best this year, so far, well at least in Tennessee on my home waters. Not gonna tell you what I caught it on, but it wasn't a jig or minnows. Care to take a guess what it was? Take care all.

Crickets are the best bait for any bream-bluegill, shellcracker, etc. Nightcrawlers work ok. I prefer crickets because they are not as messy as worms and they look like insects and bream like insects. If I could not get crickets, I would use red worms. You can make them last longer.
Well, Fatboy, I'm glad the crappie is good looking! Just kidding. It's a fine fish. I' ve never caught a two pounder. Close, but not quite. But, one day it is going to happen and when it does I'll either drop it back in the water or the camera will stop working.
Good job.
2 lbs is pretty light that fan. :D
Nice fish
Awsome fish. My guess, crickets. By the way was your hair starting to turn white before or after you caught that baby.
