Know the feeling, I retired in August of 07 and everything is hunky doory until ice gets on lake, thank god I have a nice shop to escape from the warden and play in.......Good luck in your retirement, lets just hope those checks keep coming in........

Congrats on your retirement! Maybe a couple of those Estwings will make a good anchor.

    Default Good Idea

Good idea Frosty I hadn't thought of that. I've got a few that that's about they are good for. But maybe I better keep them, never know when you might need a BFH.

Silverside first check shows up Feb. 2 (I hope).

Congrats! I retired 3 years ago and the winter is the toughest time looking for things to do. Spring will be here before we know.

If you are like the most of us who are retired, it won't take you long to get use to not having to get up and get ready for work 5 days a week.

Sure things are slow in the winter but trying to busy yourself until you can get on the water sure beats working.

I retired in 06 after 30 years in the prison system and i love being retired, i can always find something to pass my time rather than getting up and going to that hell hole.

Hang in there spring is just around the corner. Congrats on your retirement, you'll be glad you did.
