So far, only bought a couple of reels that I like to use off of ebay.
Also waiting for Tony to get in some 7' crappie rods.
Sure hope we get some ice melt this weekend.

bought a few more packs of Y.U.M. Wooley Beaver Tails and some more Slider Grubs Saturday. My son ties crappie jigs Bugs. They work better than everything else sometimes. I tried to learn but don't have the patients.

Bought a new B&M jigging rod last weekend and a couple of small crank baits. I'm trying to manage my jig-buying habit, however. I have way more than I could ever use.

I've been stocking up on slabbusters in assorted colors. Also bought some Fin-S shad and am going to give them a go this year. With their skinny tail, I'm thinking they might be a good early season bait. We'll see. I've started tying jigs as well. It's pretty fun to do and you're able to make color combos that you'll never see in the stores. But the main thing is that it keeps you busy during those long long winters.

Here's a couple of pics of some.
