Exclamation Lexington wasn't spared, either ...

I've been without power for most of the last two days. Power restored at 1130AM this morning. Tree damage is extensive. Still had to report to work, last two nights :p (considered "essential personnel")
Many areas still without power ... just holding out hope that my power will stay on, now that it's back on.

    Ya'll stay safe !!

Spent 4 hours today cleaning up the downed limbs from my dads yard. We did not get hit as hard as some down here in BG, but all around us got hit pretty hard. I wish you all the best with the clean up!

Crappie52--noticed the river today--up, muddy and rolling
CP-Good to hear your electric is back on- fortunate here-didn't lose power but part's of the other side of town did.
klight-did the same today. Lost one good size limb from a tree out front.
Warmer weather for the weekend, but looks like round two coming in Monday.

You all are in my prayers. My dad is a truck driver and he has been running from Jackson MS to all parts of Kentucky with emergency generators. There aren't anymore in MS but he is now picking them up in parts of TN to bring them to Kentucky. He has been very fortunate in that all of the roads he has traveled are main hwys. so he has not had to drive on ice very much at all. Again, you all are in our prayers.

Best to you FM, I hope it leaves you all quickly. If any of you here in KY are still looking for a genarator, Camping World in Bowling Green still had some as of early this afternoon. BG is packed with people trypng to get a room or a meal because so many areas around us are shut down due to power outages.
