    Thought those of the jets breaking the sound barrier was neat. Just threw the beagle in to tie it all together.

    Think I would hand cuff myself to the bed at night. Would be a great place to practice yodeling. Wonder how speck is at putting on roof tiles?

    Great photo's Frosty, you are exactly correct about going trans-sonic through the sound barrier. The first photo I think was of a B-1 bomber (don't know for sure, didn't fly around them) The second photo is of F-18s first one going tran-sonic and the second (behind) is aready going super sonic trying to catch up. When you go threw the sound barrier the trans sonic, visually seen, shock wave starts on the leading edge of the wing and then goes aft as you go through the sound barrier, then disappears as you accelerate.

    Been there, done that.
