Default New side scan sonar.....watch out HB

    Yep......

I keep on saying sooner or later boats will have operating systems aboard instead of dedicated flatulence.

Now that's cooking with gas. You use you own laptop with a large, bright LCD screen. You can record up the capacity of your hard drive. Seems simple enough to me. Seems like you'll need a separate GPS but nothing wrong with that, most of us do that already. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't cover 180 degrees, YET. We can continue to hope. CP thanks for keeping us up to date on such matters.

I was wondering how much the units were going to cost? Is 1,700 the cost?

    Default to many zero's

I think you made a addition mistake on the cost of the boat. You added 2 extra zero's to the wrong side of the equation. $150.00

Yep. 60 degree cone, but, hey it is sidescan and it is attached to the boat. I believe the attach to the boat was part of HBs patent claim. Looks like it is attached to the boat me. I guess the Limeys don't care about that patent.

A little pricey unit too. 1700 dollars Limey money. American $$????
Looks like you can use any gps for reference (nema 0183).
