    Angry Bad Weather?


    I'M ON THE GREENE/CHRISTIAN COUNTY LINE AND THE ICE IS HERE!!!! HAD CLASSES CANCELLED EVEN BEFORE WE GOT OFF WORK, LOOKIN LIKE WE MAYBE SITTIN AT THE HOUSE TOMARROW.

    We're supposed to get 5 1/2in of snow but thankfully no ice......not lookin good for any of us for the next few days ya'll be safe down there that ice is some mean stuff.......on a brighter note the end of the week through mid week is lookin pretty promising.

    Looks like those of us north of KC are gonna catch a break again.....snows goin south!:D

    Hope nobody gets the freezin rain....that stuff sux.

    News man said we were going to get ice and maybe as much as 10-30 inches of snow Oh well, the fridge is full picked up beer and groceries on the way home, fired up the generator just to make sure everything is running good. BRING IT ON!!!!

    Ice and sleet here. Roads in bad shape. Lots of accidents on i44, 71, 249 in joplin and 60 On 96 no one on road everyone on the sholder. Get ready beagle and frosty headed your way.

    My daughter pulled in my driveway crying an hour ago she was scared to death the sleet came in a hurry and turned bad quick,got her home safe and sound.........everyone be safe.

    6:45pm,,,,trucks look to be moving at a somewhat moderate pace on 54 south,,kinda had a freezing mist for a while now a few snow flakes,they keep saying that the ice stuff will stay south of jc,,we will see,,,,,,,,,

    Parked the boat, put the tarp on it. It is already icy here in Taneyville. Was raining just a few minutes ago. filled the water bucket ( 10 gal) for the stool and water jugs with drinking waster. Got beer in the fridge. I think I'm set.

    Joplin is awful, wrecks all over the place 249 and 171 both had traffic backed up. Looks like it is going to get worse tonight into tomorrow. Generators are full of fuel and ready so I will not be taking cold showers this year!:D
