    Hold on, I think a see a few nice crappie suspended over there in the shade...

    I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready for some warmer weather. I've got some jigs I want to drown...in the meantime, I'd settle for this, I guess...I could water test my "home-mades" with a couple of margaritas...or a few pina coladas...or a few Coronas with lime...a couple of big cigars...:rolleyes: ...man, I hate winter.... I need to get back on the water bad...I think I'm losing it, stuck here in the ice in Illinois. Oh well, it won't be too long I guess !

    Hey Crappieranger I lived up there in Ill. for 60 yrs. Got smart, retired and moved to Tn. a year and a half ago. Been fishin 4-6 days aweek ever since!(even in January)

    I lived in Milan... Quad City area, and fished the muddy Miss. most of the time. It was close to 200 mi. to any big lake. It is a nice area but don't like them cold long winters and fishing the Mississippie can get frustrating.

    Fishawk-- I like your attitude. I too am retired and fish all most every day depends on weather. It's been pretty cold out here in Idaho going out crappie fishing again this coming Friday. Catching Crappie ever trip out. Still have 30 pounds of fillets in freezer. Were not frozenup on our resevoier yet. Two windy most of the time, keeps water stired up. Water is the Snake River behind a Dam.
