Default My Son getting real nice gift

Well we will know about his leg next week as well so that is good. He is thinking it will be fine and then on to rehab and a new leg.

Now for the exciting news. He and wife get to go to the Super Bowl and one day before he will meet Mike Ditka and get to shoot sporting clays with him and like 100 other Celebs. They will get picked up and then they go to the NFL experience before the game.

Just thought I would tell you guys about this.

Man that is some great news, i'll bet that will really boost his spirits. I have seen on the outdoor channel where they were taking disabled returning vets out shooting & hunting, this is a great service & the people helping are to be commended.
Take A Soldier Fishing is also a great service. They scheduled one at a lake near me & I signed up to take some fishing, but they had to cancel due to problems with the lake management. Being a vet myself, I sure was unhappy that the trip had to be canceled.

There was another program that was about fly fishing and tying and I emailed them and there was no one in my area. I told them that if that changed let me know as I would love to teach a Vet to tie.

They say that a son gets most of his attitude from his Dad. I'm proud of him but it says a lot for Dad too.
