The wintertime blah's has oficially set in i can't wait till this next month passes so all the ice will be gone, the birds will be singing the elm trees will be budding and most importantly the fish will be biting.........i hate to wish my life away but if this time of year was all life had to offer it would be a sorry existance

I don't start feeling better until after the first week of March. Feburary in some years can be a tough month and we have gotten some of biggest snows the first part of March.

I have painted all the jigs I could use in ten years. Reorganized the boat ten times. Bought enough stuff at Everhardts big sale they closed a week ahead of schedule. We have got to get rid of the ice. I do not mind the cold but when the lake is froze over sure does not leave a man much to do.

Saw a few pics of our boat at the condos last weekend, Bugs. It was completely frozen in out there near the end of dock 6. I figured your days of heading back that way for some blues and crappie were shot for awhile. I agree, this time of year is a bummer!
