Birthday fishing trip ... with my two best buds !!

Fished from 8PM till 3AM (but, it sure didn't seem that long ...LOL!!)
Caught a 3.5lb'r - 2.5lb'r - 2lb'r - several dinks, and one about 5lbs.
OH ... guess I should quantify that - the 3.5, 2.5, 2.0, & "dinks" were all BASS :rolleyes: ! The 5lb fish was a Flathead Cat All "keepers" were caught on Crankbaits (Hot Lips by Luhr Jensen). Caught the dinks on 4" Gene Larew Craws. My buds caught several dinks apiece, and one of them caught a "keeper" Bass around 2.5lbs.
I hooked & lost two or three ... and lost my best Hot Lips to a 2ft long Gar (saw it when it leaped out of the water and my line was "chewed up" real bad, where the lure once was ...hehehe! )
All fish were returned to the lake. .............cp
