Talking A new Ranger 692 owner!

Well, I did it! I bought the 94 Ranger 692 w/ 02 Yamaha 150 I was looking at. It was well kept and looks like new. The motor has only 90 hrs on it and my marine mechanic said it was in perfect condition, just need to clean the carbs and add a fuel/water filter. It is an awsome boat with plenty of room and a wide open stable fishing platform. I can't wait to get it setup for this weekend. It is alot of difference between this boat and my Tracker 02 Pro Deep V17.(that is now up for sale and will be posting it later) I have been smilling every since my offer was excepted and I was towing it home. Bring the wind and the rough water on because I got something to handle it now. No more getting blown out of my holes on tournament day. I didn't think about it but today is mybirthday and this makes a great present to myself.:D
    I love crappie fishing! CG

CONGRATS! I've had my 617DVS for 9 yrs now. I've had four other boats in the past including a Champion and a Lund Pro V. I think you'll find that it is a great boat and very durable. A lot of folks think that you have to "baby" a glass boat. I believe they are more durable than aluminum and you don't have to be concerned about scratching off decals when you rub a tree!!I haven't babiedmine and belive me, it's in great shape for being 9 yrs. old!
