    Default GPS waypoints

Could you all give me some ideas how you keep up with your waypoints, do you all keep a notebook with the detailed info and enter a way point name on your GPS?

Hummingbird. hit mark and you have a permanent record. take pics and you have a permanebt pic. That is the best possible way. the maps are on the navionics card.

Your GPS should hold at least 500 waypoints. There's really no need to name them, the unit will assign each one a different number. Using he map screen you should see your waypoints come on the screen as you approach the area you're going to fish. If the waypoint you want doesn't show up just zoom out until it shows on the screen and them move boat towards the waypoint and zoom back in as you get closer.

For backing up your waypoints on your computer you can download easyGPS from EasyGPS - FREE GPS Software for your Garmin, Magellan, or Lowrance GPS and transfer the waypoints to your computer using a data cable. If you have a Garmin GPS you can download MapSource from their website.
