    Default Crappie Fishing in Arkansas

We've been catching some nice crappie on Lake Hamilton and Lake Greeson lately on Rosy Red minnows under slip floats from 11 to 15-feet deep. This 17-incher joined us early this morning on Hamilton.

The biggest eight of this bunch from Greeson last Sunday were from 14 to 16.5-inches.

Nice string of crappie Jerry, especially the 17 inch white. Do you have a weight on the big 'un?

    Thanks!

Bill, that old gal was a bit on the poor side - only 1.75 pounds. She probably would have been well over two pounds a couple months ago. She was in a lot better shape as far as her fins and tail than a lot of the big ones we get. Would have made a good mount but the guy that caught it didn't want to have it done so......

Karl, I about have the Gray Ghost all set up and really enjoying working out of her. Blue Wave did a great job with the custom work I wanted and I'm really happy with the layout - much more comfortable and convenient for my clients and me than my old boat. She rides like a Cadillac too compared to my old Kenner. Still getting used to a new trolling motor (Maxxum with 3X steering) and new graphs.

I do need to get some pictures - don't even have one on my website yet. Sorta waiting to get the lettering done on the sides but I'll try take a few pics and get them posted here.

man, what a slab. Now THOSE customers will definately return next year, most liekly with a ton of freinds!! Good job. I don't catch them that big in the summer. Most are 10-14 inches. Rosey Reds, huh. Guess I need to drive the 50 miles to the nearest bait store that carries reds!!!!!!!
