Seems to change season to season, as they never want the same thing two years in a row, last year (and the year before actually) they seemed to prefer pop-eyes......char. green or char yellow head, red thread, and a white kiptail body. Homemade and my buddy used some store boughts. Never did any good on a panfish assassin for some reason, although I see a lot of guy using them.
Panfish Assassin, Opening Night or Spring Minnow.
Charlie brewers slider
Reel foot yankee
I use the 1 1/2'' jig watermelon/chartreuse & Junebug/chartreuse & white on a privite pond with good luck and soom luck but not munch on Millwood.
CB sliders and Southern Pro stingers
I've been doing ok with Bobby Garland baby shad, sorta pearl with silver sparkles. Also black and chartruse crappie magnet on shad dart jig.
