    Default fishing movies

I was watching some instructional movies on you tube last night. Have you ever noticed that in almost every one the wind is calm or almost calm? I was wondering when the wind was going to lay down here. Every time I go out the wind is blowing right down the lake, one direction or the other. LOL

I prefer a little wind myself. The whitecaps we have been getting lately suck tho.

And have you ever noticed how many tv shows and videos are done on private bodies of water? Bill Dance is a nice guy and an industry icon but his show is a joke any more, he fishes the same body of water over and over again for bass. Never anyone else there and never a puff of breeze. Not sure you can learn much from sets up like that.

I'm with Bugs on this one. It seems like getting out on that one beautiful day in the middle of the week - sunny, wind SSE 5-510 mph - and the fish always have lockjaw. Give me stable weather for three days - stable windy, stable rain/sleet and the slabs will be headed toward the livewell.
