that was something that Cane pole had done
I remember seeing a post a couple of years ago that had a drawing of a themometer with the temps listed on one side and the depth of crappie on the other. It was a reference to use for a good starting point. I had a copy of it but lost it somehow. Anyone know where I can find that post?
Thanks

can't catch'em at home
Temperature is only one factor in crappie depth; it's affected by food availablity, oxygen (thermocline), cover, water clarity, and more.
couldn't find fish this morning so looked at 'the chart' water temp=54 went to 12' but no fish so went deeper found fish with lockjaw at 16', with the beautiful weather the temp should go to 64 by monday and the fish should be piled up in the grass(hope to be there.--shu

Water temperature 40 degrees catching fish at 60 ft. Find them and slow retrieve is the key. Fishing rocky bottom. good luck
