i bought some expensive flourocarbon.....advice from a high profile bass fisherman friend of mine......great guy!

unfortunately I hated it while fishing it with my bait caster, tried the lighter stuff in my ultra light stuff and tore it out the same day.........

went back to the braid and mono......nothing beats braid, but i can also attest to the fact that nothing beats cheap Cabelas/Bass Pro brand mono.

still use both of them (mono and braid)

I use a flourocarbon line leader when bass fishing a jig or plastic worm. Would never spool a reel with the stuff. Nothing but braid for me.
