    Default 6'6" Tica Libra

I was recently at the Outer Banks and happened upon a nice little selection of trout rods that seemed just a little too light for saltwater. It just so happened that this tackle shop had all Tica rods on sale- 30% off! I looked at a few and soon had my heart set on two. A 6'6" Medium or a 6'6" Light. I knew that I would not use it much in the ocean, and liked the lighter one best, so I got it. It was about $45. I put a Shimano Stratic 2500 FH on it, and threw it around a little with a 3/8oz head. I think it was overkill, but Pops thought otherwise. It is rated 1/32 to 3/16! She handles an 1/8th oz rooster tail just fine, and I bet a crappie jig would be just as good. I will probly get a Shimano Sienna 2500 for it, with a spool of 8lb fireline and one of 15lb ultracast. She's a beaut, and I hope she performs as well as she looks.

If you got it for 30% off at that one tackle shop, it was probably the same price at full price at any of the other shops lo.....hope ya like it.

Youve got a lot of learning to do. Service and attitude are terrible. If I can't find it in Frank and Frans or Frisco Rod and Gun, or Hatteras Jack, I do NOT need it. I'll order from China before I will that place.
