    Default tri-cities crappie

    Hey guys,
new to the forum and I live in Burbank. should be some good crappie fishing in the snake or Burbank sloughs? If anyone knows anything about theese areas email me or post here!

I ordered a new jet boat and it should be here in early July. if anyone wants to go let me know. In the meantine I hit all my old haunts around state parks on the snake.

I have tried night fishing the past couple of nights with no luck, I have gotton some minnows to come into my light...but where's the crappies?

Yeah hit up the sloughs and marina areas.. The crappie should sit under the marina docks, just swim a little jig by them 2 feet under in the afternoons and you should load the boat.

    Bassman,
I have been fishing the docks alot and catching a few fish, my trouble is hooking them. Seems like a am about 25% landing fish on strikes.

Do you think these fish suspend or sit on the bottom under the docks?

I am not bassman so i am not as cool, but I would say that these fish are suspending and the use of a float may be a big help. Just a guess though.

Cast the jigs to the docks let them sink a couple feet down to where the fish are and swim them back, the biggest fish will hit first and usually pretty light so be ready. The fish will usually suspend right under the dock by about a foot or two.
