I was out also Sat. Bite was very slow early, but at 12:00 - 2:30 they were non-stop (all on jigs). Had 30+ over 9.5" biggest at 12.5" Many little one's put back for another day.
thanks Yates/Starvin for the informative post
I fished the upper end. I got there around 9:30 and was surprised at how much skim ice was in the upper end, which some cleared as the day warmed up. I caught maybe 30 or so. Nothing of much size, most between 8"-9 1/2" with 4/5 in the 10" range. I fihed both jigs and minnows with about equal results. I moved around alot. I thought about moving out to the main lake for a few hours but was catching just enough to keep me from moving and maybe I was just a little to lazy to move my butt off that front seat.

Glad to hear you guys caught some fish. Yates and I fished all day today, the morning bite was tough for us. The afternoon was much more productive. We caught fish on laydowns and standing timber. Most fish were less than 10' deep.

I thought with the overcast sky, today would have been perfect.
It looks like the cold weather is coming back. I just hope it doesn't stay. That water is pretty cool, everything I saw was 34.5 to just over 38 degrees. It won't take much to put a layer of ice on the water.
I went with Doug today we had a great time 75+.. in 8' to 12' with 6-GO-rills..
