    Question cold weather line

What is prefered? mono, floro, braid. I have been having trouble this year with floro. I use it for a leader and it breaks right at the knot.(back to back uni knots) I don't know if it rots quicker in the sun or if the line spray got to it. I haven't been out in real cold weather yet, so don't know what to expect. Thanks Lonnie

I use Mr Crappie Hi Vis yellow year around. 6# mostly, but drop to 4# in the winter sometimes. Have to drag it once in a while, but works for me - thanks to all the recommendations from this site.

I've been using Mr. Crappie Hi Viz Yellow for two years now, no complaints. The 6 lb. that I prefer is probably closer to 10 lb.
