    Default Question bout crappie beds

I'm new here on crappie.com so I want to say hello. My question is I want to build some crappie beds for our place at Loz, problem is right now the water is only bout 3 feet deep, spring, summer, and fall it is round 4 - 5 feet deep. Our place is on the river. Any suggestions on what to build or do?

Welcome. Some smaller PVC beds set in heavy concrete may work if the current's not too bad. Stakes maybe an option, too????

    Welcome aboard,
I'm no expert, but it seems kinda shallow to be effective except during the spawn...also if its a river section it might get washed away or covered with debris during the spring rains/floods.
