    Default Twist Weld Leader Wire...........

Cleaning up my stuff and find a spool of twist wire. Made me up some single hook bottom bumper rigs (for lack of something to do and also the fact that Wal Mart ain't got any).

I was under the impression this company was out of business, but I was able to Google em up. Easy to rig. I ain't no Knot head, so I don't do real good with knots. Just use a match and walla, a good strong 100 % knot.

Almost forgot how to use a match.:o

I just added pictures of the weld wire Ky lake rig. Don't have much terminal tackle at the house. Can't finish rig.

Never thought of looking there. Is it the heat melt type wire?

Twist Weld is the stuff!!! Wally World doesn't carry it that I know of. I actually first heard of the stuff back a few years on In-fisherman. They were using it for leader material for pike fishing with a fly rod. If it'll hold up to those big brutes it'll be great for us panners.

How do you attach your leader to the wire arm?

I make a loop and I put a snap in the loop on the tags, then melt the wire to hold the snaps. I do this cause I ain't worth a crap at making drop loops. My hands shake a cat passing glass........
