Mississippi? Never heard of it. Seriously, depending on the weather and time you go, I can help you on either Sardis or Enid. Early to mid spring, I'd jig fish Clear Creek, Hurricane Landing, and anywhere on the upper end of Sardis around timber dipping jigs. Enid, I'd concentrate on Bean Creek, Wallace Creek and Long Branch. All of these places have alot of natural and man made structure. Trust your electronics. Later in the spring to mid fall, trolling is the name of the game anywhere on the lakes. Watch for schools of shad, troll past them and hang on.
Word of caution though. Thats big, flat water down there with nothing to break the wind. Waves come up fast and out of no where. It can get dangerous fast. Also, Mississippi passed a new law that takes effect in '09. Everyone in the boat must be wearing a coast guard approved flotation device at all times while on the water. From the time the boat leaves the ramp until you are back on dry land. This only applies to the 4 COE lakes for now.
