Thumbs up 11 wins, 5 losses..Falcons in playoffs!!

Well you all know I am pumped about this amazing season.
I think the Falcons have a great shot getting to the Super Bowl. Great run game with turner and Norwood. Rookie QB is going to be a hall of famer if he improves. Punter is great. Punt team allow least yards ever in nfl season. Elam is a solid FG kicker. Defense is strong...Why not? Falcons take the Lombardi trophy...:D

after the agony of last season it is hard to believe the great season we get to see this year..

    what do yall think?

I'm just soooooo disappointed that my Saints didn't close the deal for you yesterday. Brees brought em back from a 20 pt deficit in the 4th qtr, taking the lead with 3 min left. But like so many many times in this depressing year, the Saints D could not hold the lead, losing on a FG with 1 sec left.

I'd have liked for my Saints to play spoiler and give you guys the division...

    Oh well...sigh...go birds.

I am as excited as you are Smitty. I have been a Falcons fan since the 60's and lived through the deprsssing years so it is good to see them have some success.

I just wish they would play to the ability and not to the competition. They should have blown the Rams out of the stadium yesterday, but hey a win is a win.

Remember DEFENSE wins championships......we have to do something about our passing defense.

They still had a very impressive year considering where they left off last year. They are moving in the right direction and at least there appears to be some hope. After last year I was about to find me another "favorite" team to root for. A little work on the O-line and some D- backs and we'll be in a good spot for next year.
