Any of you crafting gurus make a jig head with a short shank hook? I would like a few with #2 and #1 hooks if possible. Paint or no paint , I don't care. I just cant find any or I just cant find any.

and I need one big enough to see , somethin like a 1/4 oz would be just rite or 3/8 ok too.

Yep, but hook too big. No 2/0 to 6/0. These are great live bait hooks.

Hopefully, I will have a good line of short shanks to choose from in the very near future, and in about 4 or 5 colors in hooks to choose from too. I hope to have from #1-3/0 in short shanks in assorted colors, Lord's will. You will be able to get them, either unpainted or painted,collared or not collared once I get all the bugs worked out...lol. I will keep you posted...Good Fishin'..GF

Sure do Frank. I got some of them. I want the short shank 1/4 oz. I got 1 left and I cant find any with #1 or #2 hook. The feller I useta getem from has passed.

I shoulda started looking sooner, but, I didn't believe I would have any problem finding these rigs.

I am peeing up a rope with the internet looking.

Keep me posted..... try a #2 if you can. They are real good for 1 inch minners. 1/8 oz size.

The ones I had were similar to the ones at Cabelas, cept they didn't have the stinger hook hole and had smaller hooks. I will show you how I use it this coming spring if I get some jigs by then and we get a chance to get out. It is deadly post spawn.
