    Thumbs up Ice in some spots


    Up here in MA we have had some weird weather.Gets cold than gets warm.It sucks for us Ice fisherman,but,I did find some safe ice yesterday and got a few of our favorite fish! Can't wait to get out again but,the temp is back up,and it's raining today Got 35 Crappie ,Perch and Gills out if 2 holes in 2 1/2 hours. :D Just me and my jig stick!

    What were you using for bait? Looks like a small jig in the last picture. No ice on lakes in Tn. though.

    Thanks for the pics. I would like to try that ice fishing looks like a good time.

    Those yankee fish ain't big but, they sure are pretty. Allways wondered why y'alls fish have that lovely gold tone to 'em? Looks fun but cold.

    They do get bigger.I'm fishing the smaller ponds till the ice gets thicker.I'll get some bigger ones.Happy new year to you all!! :D

    w.t.g joe!! nice fish! This last storm of 08 has brougtht some cold air in which is a good thing for making ice finally!!! Hopefully we are out of the crazy weather pattern that has plagued us the last couple of months. tigtht lines: peter
