My buddy's son got him a nice buck

I wasn't there when he killed it, and the only pic I could get was one that I took with my cell phone of a snapshot they had taken, This deer was killed at the beginning of the season during the youth hunt.. His son is 8 and this is the first deer that he has ever taken a shot at.. 8pt and if I remember right it was 161lbs. I am still happy for him.

My buddy called me shortly after they got the deer loaded in the truck and told me that he got a good 8pt and I told him he was lying.. Then he told me that this one was gonna cost him. When he said that, I knew he was serious because he doesn't spend his money freely, but after a couple months and 350 dollars, I went with him last weekend to pick up the mount and it looks great hanging on his wall next to my buddy's...Thanks for the comments.
