I got to thinking today about the bright lights at the local steam plant that point down off the top of the mooring cells that are used when they unload barges at night. Most of the time there aren't any barges there at night and the lights stay on every night just pointing straight down into the water attracting all kinds of shad. I figured that there might be some crappie fish hangin' 'round so I think I'm gonna ride up there and check it out tonight. I figure I'll put out a couple rods rigged with minnows and either slow troll back and forth in the lights or just drop an anchor and set a spell. This sound like a plan or what? Any ideas or tips from some of ya'll big time night stalkers?
