Default Cold On Lake O the Pines - Texas

Had a good day today (COLD!!!!!). Had two gentlemen from Waskom Tx. fishing with us today. Ended up with legal limit.. Fish bit most of the day. All our fish today came from deep cover.. The fish were "Tight" on the cover.. Had to hit em in the head with the minnow to make them bite.

    Supposed to be warmer tomorrow!

Great catch. Does the SI unit make a difference at this time of year in deep water to help you locate the schools of crappies??

    Thanks

AJ, I believe it does. I have located schools on the bottom on the deep flats at times. I just prefer to fish deep water structure when I can find it holding fish. Had to go with located schools a few days ago when the fish left my deep water brush. Fortunately, they are back on some of my deep brush now.
